When you’ve successfully set up your Google Business Messages channel in your Trengo account, your customers will be able to reach out to you via Google results and/or Google maps. Below, we’ll show you what this looks like.

Chat buttons

When you’ve added your Google Business Messages location(s) in the process of adding GBM to Trengo, this information will be shown in your Google search result or Google maps.

Google search

Below you’ll see what the GBM chat button looks like in Google search results. This is achievable by adding a non-physical or physical location during the setup in Trengo.

Google Maps

Below you’ll see what the GBM chat button looks like in Google Maps. This is achievable by adding a physical location during the setup in Trengo.

Agent and brand

When setting up your Google Business Messages agent and brand, you’re asked to provide information such as your logo and agent’s display name. Below, we’ll show you where these are displayed.

1. Brand logo: The brand logo you’ve added while setting up your GBM channel.

2. Brand name: The official name of your brand will be displayed on top of the screen.

3. Agent’s display name: The name that will be displayed with your welcome message.

4. Welcome message: The automated greeting you added will be displayed as soon as your customer clicks the ‘chat’ button on their mobile device.
