Our software makes it easy for customer-facing teams to collaborate on conversations via multiple channels, all in one shared inbox. Email, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, live chat, you name it. With an A-round investment of $36M led by Insight Partners and Peak Capital, we are strengthening our position in the Netherlands and accelerating our rapid growth in EMEA and LATAM.

This has been all very exciting and demanding at the same time. But we don’t want to stop here. In the past 2 years, we saw a 100% YoY growth, and we want to use the momentum we gained in the next years. **We are now looking for a COO to join our executive team to make this journey butter-smooth and continue our exponential growth. We are not looking for any person, but for an Inspiring COO who is able to create synergy between departments and ensure the teams are highly engaged, have the right resources, systems, knowledge and support to achieve company goals. The role of COO surely influences Trengo’s growth.

What your day looks like

Let's break down this vision into a little taste of your work at Trengo:

  • You take ownership of the internal operations with the goal of improving company metrics specifically on MRR, retention etc., but also reports, deliverables, and overall alignment.
  • You are an inspiring manager and leader for Marketing, Sales, Customer, Finance & People teams together with their relative leaders Chris, Rob, Federico, Helene and Niels.
  • Your perspective is important. You adopt the current strategy (becoming a leader of WhatsApp commerce) or share a proposal for a new strategy of execution and start its implementation. This gives you the ability to both lead the business and influence the product.
What we expect

Now that you know a bit about us, can you tell us a bit about you? I hope you can identify yourself with some of these:

  • You have previous experience as an Executive in SaaS companies that faced great challenges and achievements like 100% growth rates and fundraises of series B, C or more.
  • Besides your industry knowledge, you have strong analytical skills and a data-driven mentality to be able to find resolutions faster and better.
  • You are a successful manager and leader of go-to markets operations teams, ideally for EMEA and LATAM. With your strong communication skills, you are able to inspire everyone at Trengo through the power of storytelling and transparency, and bring business and cultural alignment to all teams.
  • You are also a successful change manager. We all know that scaling tech companies requires adaptability in an ever-changing environment, but you are able to minimize losses while optimizing wins.
