Senior UX Researcher

Summary

At Trengo we believe that UX Research is the core of a great product. It doesn’t matter how good your solution is, if it doesn’t solve a problem users have, right? This means we’re looking for a talented Senior UX researcher and help us build out our continuous discovery process. You’ll be working together with Mike and Holly to storytell on behalf of our customers and help the rest of the team get into contact with them. We hope you will inspire the leadership team, influence the roadmap and act as a mentor for the research team.

What your day looks like

Let's break down this vision into a little taste of your work at Trengo:

• Identify user/customer insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
• Work together with the product data team for quantitative research.
• Combine user research data with analytics in order to provide a complete picture of our users needs and behaviors.
• Support product teams in discovery & delivery with user research and ensuring insights are taken into consideration in product development.
• Coach and support teams to conduct research activities autonomously.
• Ensure that user research insights are taken into consideration for the business strategy and the product roadmap.
• Drive and maintain high quality research processes.

What we expect

Now that you know a bit about us, can you tell us a bit about you? I hope you can identify yourself with some of these:

• 3+ years of user research experience.
• Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research theories, processes, tools and methodologies.
• Great collaboration and communication skills. You collaborate with different, multidisciplinary teams and are able to influence decision making with research insights.
• You’re comfortable to partner and work with leaders from design, development, product and marketing.
• You’re curious in nature and have an incredible knack to discover patterns in a complex set of behavioral and attitudinal data.
• You like to coach and guide the growth of junior UX researchers.
• You’re experienced facilitating sessions to synthesize research results.
• You’re experienced with using research for design decisions.
• Fluent in Dutch and in English both speaking and writing.
