The Role

As our first Revenue Operations Manager, you have the possibility to see Trengo enhance efficiency thanks to your contribution. With your analytical eye, you will be able to make a strong impact by advising our management team on strategic topics that will help us improve the overall performance in the future.

On top of that, you will be the key person that connects our marketing, sales and customer success teams. You understand how they are related cross-functionally. You'll recommend, implement, and manage the cross-functional process and system changes that have a direct impact on our GTM team’s operational efficiency.

We generate a big amount of leads every single day, so marketing analytics and automation are key in our GTM tech stack. We work with Hubspot for marketing and sales (we have a great Hubspot Specialist in-house who sits in the Demand Generation team). We also have a solid data warehouse system that aggregates data from different systems and is hooked up to our data visualization tool of choice (Power BI at the moment).

This role is a hybrid of strategic planning, business analytics, and marketing & sales operations. We are looking for an analytical goal-getter that wants to become a key driver of Trengo’s growth by drawing analytics and identifying and implementing process improvements.

What your day looks like

Let's break down this vision into a little taste of your work at Trengo:

  • Providing insights into growth levers for accelerating revenue through the entire customer journey (lead through to retention/upsell/expansion) and ensuring the strategic alignment of all revenue-related departments.
  • Helping define goals, budgets and track performance of the business.
  • Owning and tracking corporate and functional metrics for the GTM team, including funnel dynamics, conversion rates and sales cycles. For the marketing part you work together with the HubSpot specialist who runs this.
  • Building and maintaining reports for the marketing, sales, and customers success teams.
  • Acting as a process and technology architect for the marketing, sales and customer success teams – design and optimize processes and collaborate closely with your technical counterparts in the Development team.
  • Ensuring correct usage of technology and processes by the different teams through training, monitoring, and correct process documentation;
  • Coaching junior and medior Operations & Analytics team members on the quality of their output and way of working.
What we expect

Now that you know a bit about us, can you tell us a bit about you? I hope you can identify yourself with some of these:

  • You have around 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Marketing/Sales Operations or Business Operations at a high-growth, B2B SaaS-based start-up/Scale-up. Previous experience in consulting is ideal.
  • You have the ability to build and maintain a systematic, repeatable, and predictable approach to commercial processing and tooling.
  • You have proficiency with a highly varied and distributed tool stack across the entire customer journey (e.g. Outreach, Chorus, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Vitally or similar systems).
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • You are curious, independent, rigorous and proactive kind of person passionate about growth and revenue.
  • You enjoy managing projects from A to Z.
  • And, C-level presentations are something you enjoy doing.
