Chatbot AI HelpMate talks to customers on any channel, Journeys automates customer contact

Utrecht, the Netherlands, September 17, 2024 — Trengo, a leading SaaS platform for customer engagement, introduces Trengo AI: user-friendly AI that every company can easily implement in their customer service. Trengo AI is designed to make the adoption of AI by customer service teams of real added value. ‘Every customer service employee should be able to work with Trengo AI, regardless of their level of technological knowledge,’ says Trengo CEO 't Hooft-Bolle.

Trengo AI has been beta-tested and optimised with various customers, such as Valk Exclusief Group en HotelSpecials. This has resulted in AI HelpMate and Journeys. AI Helpmate is an AI-driven chatbot that uses selected information sources to conduct conversations with customers and offers solutions to questions within predetermined guidelines. Journeys automates the customer journey by guiding customers on various channels with conversations and actions.

Customer-facing teams don’t need coding skills

Trengo AI will change the day-to-day of customer-facing employees, from customer experience teams to sales and marketing. Journeys designs tailored customer experiences for different scenarios, so teams won’t have to handle every conversation themselves. And all this without any coding: the route of a conversation is determined via a simple drag-and-drop interface. By asking the right questions, teams will also collect the correct information. Interactions can always be personalised with the company's tone of voice and occur over channels in more than 70 languages.

AI ​​HelpMate can be used for standalone conversations or integrated into Journeys. It is capable of conversing with customers independently and fits into the customer journey perfectly. If the chatbot cannot help the customer, the conversation is automatically transferred to a human representative.

Valk Digital manages the Valk Exclusief group – which includes 43 Van der Valk hotels across the Netherlands – and is one of the customers that joined Trengo’s AI HelpMate BETA program, becoming one of the first partners to test AI HelpMate.
