Trengo appoints Marili 't Hooft-Bolle as CEO and unveils innovative AI-driven customer engagement strategy
Utrecht, Netherlands – Trengo, a leading Dutch Customer Engagement Software company, is excited to announce the appointment of Marili 't Hooft-Bolle as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective as of September 1st, 2023. Marili will take over from Patrick Meutzner, who has served as the company's CEO since 2020 and has now transitioned to fulfil the role of Trengo’s first Chief Product Officer (CPO).
With this change of the guard, Trengo has solidified its new strategy: changing the way businesses in Europe engage and delight their customers with Artificial Intelligence (AI). By focusing on businesses offering consumer and professional services, Trengo has already started building solutions that allow their current and future customers to leverage AI in their everyday conversations with their customers in an understandable, easily adoptable way.
Marili brings with her an impressive track record in the Software as a Service (SaaS) space and will guide the company along their new strategy. Marili has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at WeTransfer and COO and Managing Director at inSided which was later acquired by Gainsight. She’s currently serving as a supervisory board member at TomTom, and has most recently served as interim COO for Trengo since April 2023.
